Beth Ann Dickie

Beth Ann Dickie has worked in the Office of Educational Accessibility at Old Dominion University since the spring of 2009. She has served as the office’s Director since 2012. Beth Ann received her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University in 1988 and her master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Maryland- College Park. Beth Ann served with students with severe disabilities while she was employed in Montgomery County Public Schools form 1988 to 2000. She specialized in supporting these students in inclusive public school environments. Since joining Old Dominion University, Beth Ann offers support and accommodations to students with disabilities so they can receive equal access to the university environments. Beth Ann also currently serves at the President of AHEAD (Association for Higher Education and Disability) in Virginia.
