Deborah D. Norris has over thirteen years of experience in instructional design and training. She is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Master’s Degree in Occupational and Technical Studies, with an emphasis in Business and Industry Training. As a former Newport News Shipbuilding Engineering Planner, Military Contractor, and Senior Instructional Systems Designer, Deborah has developed and delivered numerous online and face-to-face training courses and modules for several military branches and corporate institutions.
She has been an Instructional Designer in the Center for Learning and Teaching at Old Dominion University since 2010. Her current work includes the development of interactive online engineering labs for the Civil Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs.
