Jennifer Muth Younkin is a Senior Lecturer of Psychology and the Chief Departmental Advisor for the Psychology Department at Old Dominion University. She has been teaching for 20 years and advising for 13. She has taught a wide range of psychology courses, in a variety of formats, and regularly teaches courses such as Cross-Cultural Psychology and Social Psychology. She also served as the faculty advisor for Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology and the Association of Psychology Students for 14 years. She holds several awards for each of these roles. Her research interests center on the incorporation of high-impact practices into the classroom, with a specific focus on ePortfolios. She has a M.S. in Psychology and is currently completing her dissertation toward a PhD in Higher Education.
