Mark C. Rehfuss

Dr. Mark C. Rehfuss received his doctorate in Counseling and Human Developmental Services from Kent State University and holds licensure as a Professional Counselor in Ohio and Virginia. He is currently an Associate Professor and Director of the Human Services Online bachelors program in the Department of Counseling and Human Services at Old Dominion University. Dr. Rehfuss has developed, taught in and managed online programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Directing and guiding these programs from conceptualization through implementation to maintenance and finally accreditation. Dr. Rehfuss has an ability to work with faculty and administrators to produce programs that successfully meet the needs of students and ensure their success in today’s world. Dr. Rehfuss’ research and publication interests include career and mental health counseling, narrative, human services education, and online learning. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and has delivered numerous international and national presentations.
