Phil Dillulio is a third-year Industrial / Organizational Psychology doctoral student in Dr. Konstantin Cigularov’s S.M.A.R.T (Safety Management and Applied Research Team) Lab. Phil’s research is predominantly focused on different aspects of training and development, with an interest in training needs assessment. Specifically, his Master’s thesis examined the effect of rating source, rating target, and job position on ratings of training need. Phil is also active on applied research projects. He has assisted in the development and evaluation of training programs for combat wounded veterans and chief residents. Currently, Phil serves as the President of the Industrial / Organizational Psychology Student Association (IOPSA). Prior to attending ODU, Phil completed his B.S in Sport and Exercise Psychology at West Virginia University in 2013, and earned his M.S in the same field of study in 2015 at Temple University, in Philadelphia, PA.
